Wow, the operation is done! I don't feel like it was just a normal nevus removal, doest it really hurt this much afterwards??
The operation was done in the city hospital, by special chirurgian in a real OR! That was surprising. The fact I needed to prepare myself for chirurgical operation at home, by taking betadine showers, that already made me feel nervous. I got even more nervous when I was gives hospital clothes and taken to OR by weelchair.
All this for to take few moles off? Last time I was went to take a mole off,it took few seconds at dermatologist and tinu patch to cover it. Didn't hurt, and quick.
There was a nurse to prepare everything, bunch of knives, needles, things I don't even know. My hand was sterilisized, and then we waited the surgeon to come. My nurse was nice, were chatting about Finland :) The doctor came and we started.
Even I've have had emla patch for making the skin numb, the injections did hurt a little. Weird was, that my palm did't get numb enough and I could feel the product coming up to my arm, making it numb. More injections and it seemed good. I have no idea what was the tehcnique she used, something what makes electric cratching noise and beebs. And when she was cutting deeper the palm, suddenly I felt the cut! And hell yes it felt bad! It was so deep, she needed to finish the operation and it did hurt! Afterwards even putting the stiches did hurt.. I have 2 or 3 big stiches (quite ugly) on my hand. And another 5 stiches in my head!
After the hand, I needed to turn around and lie on my belly. Same operation was about to be done twice on my head, this time it just felt unfomfortable and didn't hurt. Altogether 2hours, 8 stiches later, I was outside and waiting R to pick me up.
For top of this, when I arrived to the hospital my carte vitale, social security card didn't work and the secretary told me that I need to pay for the operation! Nice! Luckily afterwards other person saw that I still havet rights to have social security. Later on, I saw that just the operation would have been 881 euros! Luckily I had also extra insurance :)
Now, I'm home. Headache, hand keeps bleeding. I had long nap. And all this on Raph's 29th birthday!
I made 2 chocolate cakes yesterday, one for home and one for work :) My gift didn't arrive yet. Second gift is that he needs to do dishes for next 2 weeks because of the stiches ;) poor birthday boy!
Saturday: here is my hand today, still sore.

Aw you poor thing! Hope you heal quickly! And happy birthday to Raph! :)
