Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Do you have nice plans for the Halloween?
We are having a dinner with friends on Monday night.
I don't even have a costume or make up ideas..
Yet. Hopefully by tomorrow yes.
Any ideas?

Léonie is doing great, thank you all for the sweet comments.
I had my first exam at school, French & General culture, needed to write an essay.
The subject was really hard,I think, something like " Can our society exist without sports".
Eeh.. it was hard. I think it would have been easier of course in finnish, so I was struggling to write it in french.
I hope that I will still get more than zero from it ;)

I bought some fall decorations to home, as we haven't ever had any here.
Léonie found it very interesting and tried to eat all, specially the wheat. In the end, the decorations are now hidden at the time when we are not at home. Wheat is hanging on the wall, because she cannot resist it.
Cat owners (or any pets that likes to destroy stuff) do you have same problems?
Any new thing that comes to home, L needs to try and bite it.
All candles and decorations that were here when she did came first time, can stay in peace.
What about the christmas? Are we forced NOT to have a christmas tree? It´s my favourite holidays and if I can´t decorate..

 A proof.
Few pieces missing.

cooking yummy things...

and we got some Aveyronnaise goodies.

Smashed potatoes with Tomme cheese.

And we got our first (EVER) Jack-O'Lanter for carving!
Raph made really good work, it looks so good.

One tiny critter is creeping around the table, getting closer..

it smells weird..

Have a funny and spooky Halloween!

  1. I love your little kitty! I hope she is feeling better from her surgery. That picture of her looking weirded out (though dying to play) is absolutely priceless. What a precious kitten - you're very lucky to have yours home with you. Hope all else is going well! Good luck with your courses! I'm stressing out about mine too! xox

  4. I love all these pics of your pumpkins and celebration. Your halloween looks so sweet! The opposite of scary! And that pic of Léonie where she's touching the pumpkin with her paw is just too sweet!
And I'm sure you did better than you think on your exam.

p.s. I can't believe that carbs made you sick! I'm so sorry for that. I'm addicted to it and being here really doesn't help. However, I try to cook as much as possible a variation of things but bread is still predominantly served and eaten at every meal. My husband can't eat without it. Even with chinese food he likes to eat bread afterwards - go figure!

Wishing you a wonderful week Sini!!! :-D

Stephanie, good luck with your courses too! It's stressing but good results makes it all good.

Indie by heart, me neither! Hehe. It was our first pumpkin, we were amazed how easy it was to to do it.

Melissa, I am really speecless from your comment - thank you!

Reese, I know, it is so weird! I love pasta and the bread here too, it's delicious so it's even more hard to resist.

I hope you all have a great weekend! :)
